Background

Ilya has always had a fascination with vampires. He even looks slightly vampiric himself, with sharper canines and pointed ears. After his older brother Nikolaj left when Ilya was just 14, he devoted himself to studying vampires and their mythos. It’s been 10 years since Nikolaj left, and Ilya was supposed to be in Norway by now investigating a vampire burial site. Unfortunately, his ship capsized, and he escaped on a life boat, only to get mauled by a bear. Now he’s here. Hey, at least he gets to study vampires.
