Background

His grandfather was Alexei Kornienko, a man infamous for killing almost his entire family. Only his mother survived, and after having him and his younger brother Ilya with his father, they spent 18 years homeless and hopping from inn to inn, people believing their bloodline was cursed. He always got a strange feeling from his mother. He left when he turned 18, and he never looked back, becoming a fisherman.
