🥀 Backstory

Igneel wasn't given a fair chance at life. He was born to a mother who adored him, from the moment he was placed in her arms she vowed to treasure and give him the best chance at life.

Igneel was born blind, his beautiful eyes were so pale and clouded over with no chance of light ever shining through and yet his mother never once saw him as a burden and instead focused on making sure she coukd secure greatness for him anyway.

She had inherited a handsome life for herself due to her passions and family ties. She knew she could give him a proper title as a noble son and make sure he could become someone great.

...but the world was cruel,

In the middle of a war, dark and monsterous. Where horrid beings crawled around every corner lurking for a victim. Igneel was snatched out of his cradle late one night.

He'd never see his mother again.

Instead, he'd be raised as a slave.

Only to one day be rescued when the traders were found and slaughtered. Him and other children amongst the Slavers were distributed to the many churches around the land. Igneel finding himself in one that pitied his blindness a bit...too much.

He grew up talked down to, pitied, focused to believe things he didn't see truth in. It didnt take long for him to start getting into fights, cursing people, fighting back when he was punished and losing all sense of empathy in his heart.

Physically he saw Darkness and Mentally now he came to believe the same. The world was only going to pity and mistreat . But, he was sent off to a distant old town to be 'tamed'.

Like hell he was going to let that happen.
