Background
Himmel is a peculiar man. He's had an interest in the supernatural since a very young age. In fact, since he heard of how strong they can get.
In his youth he was often unable to defend himself, both from peers and family. Eventually though, after his obsession with overcoming weakness started, he began training, as well as fighting back against others.
Eventually his appearance outgrew his strange mind. He gained himself a name as the charming young man who'll listen to anyone's story out of interest. This led to his first run-ins with real vampires.
Markus was riveted, yet at the same time filled with a manner of disgust. This creature that had attacked him, the one that promised eternal life and power, was so careless to attack humans it gained the trust of.
He looked in a mirror and chose to shatter it.
And that is why he became a hunter.
