Background
Maeve Seward is 32, works as a tinsmith & coppersmith, and is a descendant of Irish immigrants in the United States. Industrialization has reduced the demand for her skills, so she's been driven to smaller, more remote towns with less access to goods, in order to make ends meet. After a fight with her dad about the family’s future, she left Cincinnati and travelled for about seven years, settling temporarily in cities around the country.
Note: There are reports of an experienced and powerful vampire also going by the name Maeve Seward, distantly related to the US-born human on her father's side. This Maeve Seward has remained relatively peaceful for most of her existence, but her behavior patterns have been flagged as concerning in recent years. Caution is highly recommended, as she is known to have a grudge against vampire hunters and may exhibit hostile behavior against anyone involved in such organizations.
